For you tube amp enthusiasts out there, these Tung-Sol 12AT7 tubes are the real deal.
They're new production, not NOS, but the quality is seriously impressive.
The construction is rugged - these aren't delicate little flowers that'll microphonic at the first bump.

I've used them in several guitar amps and hi-fi systems, and the audio performance is clean and detailed without being sterile.
The low noise floor is noticeable compared to some other modern tubes - less hiss and hum, especially in high-gain applications.
Whether you're using them in amplification stages or as drivers, they deliver that classic 12AT7 character with modern reliability.

The 6201 designation is basically the same tube, just with some military-grade construction aspects.

I've A/B tested these against some premium NOS tubes, and while they're not identical, they hold their own remarkably well, especially considering the price difference.

The gain structure is typical for 12AT7 - lower than 12AX7 but with better headroom, which makes them great for phase inverters or reverb drivers.
If you're replacing old, tired tubes in your vintage amp, these will breathe new life into it without breaking the bank.

They also work well in recording gear and preamps where you need clean gain without coloration.
Basically, if you want that Tung-Sol warmth and reliability without hunting for vintage tubes, these new production versions are definitely worth trying.
They've become my go-to for most 12AT7 applications these days.
